No arrests after Guiseley AFC match

Police were called to reports of football-related trouble in Guiseley at the weekend but confirmed today they made no arrests.
Officers attended the area near the Station Hotel after Guiseley AFC’s match against Chester.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Shortly after 5pm officers were called to Otley Rd, Guiseley, following reports of a disturbance allegedly involving football supporters.
“Officers attended but no crimes were found to have been committed.”
This weekend saw football violence at Wembley stadium, in the FA Cup semi-final match between Wigan and Millwall, with Millwall fans seen fighting among themselves. In Leeds, the derby between Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday passed off peacefully.
